This tutorial describes Dolphin for KDE SC 4. Konqueror was the standard file manager in KDE 2 and 3. You can also use Konqueror as the default file manager in KDE SC 4. To do this, from KDE SC 4.2 onwards, open System Settings and go to the Default Applications module. You can select Konqueror or a range of other applications to use as the default file manager.
