Krita fa parte di KOffice dalla versione 1.4. Krita contiene sia funzioni divertenti e facili da utilizzare come la pittura guidata (non è mai stato così facile disegnare una linea retta con lo strumento aerografo!) che caratteristiche professionali come il supporto per le immagini a 16 bit, CMYK, L*a*b ed anche immagini OpenEXR HDR.
