Message definition (KPPP)

This software is used to setup ''PPP'' (Point-to-Point Protocol) connections. This is most useful for connecting with a cell phone "modem" card these days. It is also use to configure real modem connections. The '''NetworkManager''' suite intends implementing ''PPP'' functionality that will probably, in time, make '''KPPP''' obsolete.

Questo programma è utilizzato per impostare connessioni PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol). Attualmente è più utile per effettuare connessioni con una carta "modem" di un telefono cellulare. È anche utilizzato per configurare connessioni di veri modem. La suite NetworkManager intende implementare la funzionalità PPP e questo probabilmente renderà obsoleto KPPP.
