* If your problem is more general than just one KDE application (e.g., "sound stops working when I start my KDE desktop"), try starting X with a different window manager. Even if you haven't installed another WM, 'twm' will be available, as it ships by default with X.

Si votre problème dépasse le cadre d'une application KDE (par exemple : "le son s'arrête quand je démarre mon bureau KDE"), essayez de démarrer X avec un gestionnaire de fenêtre (Window Manager) différent. Même si vous n'avez pas installé d'autre WM, 'twm' reste disponible car il est livré par défaut avec X.
