== Arcticle on GPU and Plasma ==
Hi,
thanks very much for the work you are doing here. Concerning this article and wiki it would be nice to have some sort of forum underneath. Yes, it has Edit already and talk, but it's supposed to use by experienced users and contributors to this article. Some sort of link to the forum like: "Talk about in in the forum" would be useful for unexperienced ones.
::I plan to eventually have on every page a 'Hints, Tips and Tutorials' section.  Short hints and tips would be listed under that, and there would be a list of tutorials available under appname/Tutorials.  However, it all takes time :-)  If you would like to add the section to that page and link it to the forum that would be great.--[[User:Annew|annew]] 12:14, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
As for Plasma and GPU, its performance is poor on my PC (GMA 900, 1Gb RAM, Pentium IV 3.0). I had to turn on MigrationHeuristic=greedy, after that I dont have systray anymore :) Is there any method to switch to the former method of drawing that was used in KDE 3.5, but to use KDE 4?
Regards,
Roman
::This is not in my competency.  Put this comment and question on the talk page belonging to the article, and hopefully the author or someone else with such knowledge, will answer you.--[[User:Annew|annew]] 12:14, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
