Can someone please tell me if there is a way of copying an e-mail folder in Kontact / Kmail to a hard drive space outside the program?

I hope this is the way to get answers. The instructions for asking questions are not clear to me.

This is actually intended for asking help in using UserBase - either finding information, or adding information. Your question should really be asked on userlists, such as the kdepim users list. However, the simple answer to this, assuming that you have a straightforward download of POP mail (the most usual way) is to copy the whole of /home/you/.kde/share/apps/kmail/ to your hard disk.
