In the section "What kind of build environments does KDevelop 4 support?" there is mention of custom makefiles. I can't find that menu item anywhere in KDevelop 4.2.0 (Danish translation). Can you please elaborate. Also, what is meant by generic?

when you open/import a project you can select "custom makefile" project manager. That one has the ability to run "make" and "make install" and detects some targets in the Makefile.

"Generic" means it has no support for anything special. It just lists files.

Thanks. What got me confused was the menuchoice-markup. I think this markup is best left out in this context since it doesn't tell users what to actually do.
