The Edit Menu

The Edit Menu contains commands for standard editing tasks, such as cutting, copying, pasting text and images, undoing or redoing changes, and finding.

The commands offered are:

Undo: Reverts the last performed command.
Redo: Reapplies the last command that was undone.
Cut: Removes the selected content from the active object and places it on the clipboard.
Copy: Copies the selected content from the active object to the clipboard without removing it.
Copy Special: Copies the selected content from the active object with additional options.
Paste: Inserts the content from the clipboard into the active object.
Paste Special: Inserts content from the clipboard into the active object with additional options.
Find/Replace → Find: Searches for specific text or data within the active object.
Find/Replace → Find Next: Highlights the next occurrence of the search term within the active object.
Find/Replace → Find Previous: Highlights the previous occurrence of the search term within the active object.
Delete: Removes the selected content within the active object.
