You will probably find the chipset brand using the "lsusb" command as the root user. Note that some no-name and cheap camera brands don't work on Linux at all, though the ''spca5xx'' driver supports an increasing number of chipsets.

Mit kamera er et no name-mærke. Hvordan finder jeg en passende driver? Du kan formentlig finde ud af, hvilket chipset kameraet bruger ved at køre kommandoen "lsusb" som root. Bemærk, at nogle no name og billige kameraer overhovedet ikke virker under Linux, selvom spca5xx-driveren understøtter et stigende antal chipsets.
