You will probably find the chipset brand using the "lsusb" command as the root user. Note that some no-name and cheap camera brands don't work on Linux at all, though the ''spca5xx'' driver supports an increasing number of chipsets.

La mia webcam è senza marchio (generica). Come posso trovare il driver giusto? Probabilmente troverai il marchio del chipset utilizzando il comando "lsusb" come utente root. Nota che alcuni marchi senza nome ed economici di webcam non funzionano proprio su Linux, anche se il driver spca5xx supporta un numero crescente di chipset.
