Message definition (Digikam/Geotagging)

Geocorrelation is a relatively simple process which assigns geographical coordinates from the GPX file to the photos based on their time stamps. So for this technique to work its magic, you must sync the time on your Android device with your camera. When you head for a photo walk, launch Open GPS Tracker on your Android device and start a new tracking session. When you are back home, stop the tracking session, and use the <menuchoice>Share Track</menuchoice> button in Open GPS Tracker to save the recorded track in the GPX format on the SD card or send it via email to your machine.

La geo-correlazione è un processo relativamente semplice che assegna coordinate geografiche dal file GPX alle foto sulla base dell'ora di scatto. Dunque perché questa tecnica possa funzionare "magicamente", devi sincronizzare l'ora sul tuo dispositivo Android con quella della tua fotocamera. Quando parti per una passeggiata fotografica, avvia Open GPS Tracker sul dispositivo Android ed inizia una nuova sessione di tracciamento. Quando sei tornato a casa, ferma la sessione di tracciamento ed utilizza il pulsante Condividi traccia in Open GPS Tracker per salvare la traccia registrata in formato GPX sulla scheda SD o per inviarla tramite posta elettronica al tuo computer.
