'''Kopete''' supports others protocols natively. This is better since the support of these protocols is often more complete. Features like file transfers or avatars don't always work with transports. The features supported by a transport depend on the type of transport (which network it relays) and the version of the transport the server is running.

Kopete supporta nativamente gli altri protocolli. Il che è meglio dato che il supporto a questi protocolli è spesso più completo. Funzionalità come il trasferimento dei file o gli avatar non funzionano sempre con gli agenti. Le funzioni supportate da un agente dipendono dal tipo di agente stesso (con quale rete comunica) e dalla versione dell'agente utilizzata dal server.
