Message definition (Kontact)

Kontact consists of the Kontact PIM back end and the graphical applications connecting to the back end. Special 'agents' (say a facebook agent) are employed to get new data in and merge it in the existing data set (for example contacts, news). Due to the clean infrastructure new agents are easy to develop.

I componenti di KDE Kontact sono fatti su misura per lavorare bene tra di loro. Questo si traduce in caratteristiche come l'intuitivo 'clic e trascina' tra la gestione degli appuntamenti, gli elenchi dei compiti e i contatti. KDE Kontact supporta vari server groupware. Quando usi questi server il tuo gruppo di lavoro ha accesso a caratteristiche come le cartelle email condivise, elenchi di compiti di gruppo, condivisione del calendario, rubriche centralizzate e pianificazione delle riunioni.
