Message definition (KMail/FAQs Hints and Tips)

*With the '''KMail''' 1.10 shipped with KDE 4.1 or newer, right click on the folder and select <menuchoice>Rebuild Index</menuchoice> (you can do the same from the <menuchoice>Folder</menuchoice> menu).
*With earlier '''KMail''' versions the process is slightly more complicated. Close '''KMail'''. In '''Dolphin''', navigate to where your mail is stored (typically in <tt>~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/</tt>) and look for index files associated with the affected mailbox. There will be two or three, and be easy to spot. <menuchoice>Delete</menuchoice> them. They will be recreated when you re-start '''KMail'''. You will have lost the mails that had disappeared, but the rest of the mail should be visible again.

Amb el KMail 1.10 proveït amb KDE 4.1 o posterior, feu clic dret sobre la carpeta i seleccioneu Reconstrueix l'índex (podeu fer el mateix des del menú Carpeta).
Amb les versions anteriors de KMail, el procés és una mica més complicat. Tanqueu el KMail. Al Dolphin, aneu a on s'emmagatzema el correu (en general a ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/) i cerqueu els fitxers d'índex associats amb la bústia afectada. N'hi haurà dos o tres, i són fàcils de detectar. Feu <menuchoice>Esborra<menuchoice> sobre seu. El qual tornarà a crear-los quan es torni a iniciar el KMail. Perdreu els missatges que ja havien desaparegut, però la resta del correu hauria de ser visible altra vegada.
