Message definition (Kexi/Handbook/Building Simple Databases/Entering Data Into Tables)

Inserting new rows and entering data for them in '''Kexi''' is different from the way of doing this in spreadsheets. To enter data for a new row, you need to use the arrow keys or mouse, to move your cursor to the special empty last row marked with a plus sign. Place your cursor in the (second) '''''name''''' column and enter a person's name. Also enter surname, street, house number and city. When done, move the cell cursor to the last empty row either by using the <keycap>Down</keycap> key or by clicking in the last row with the mouse to append a new row.

At indsætte nye rækker og indskrive data i dem foregår på en anden måde i Kexi end i et regneark. For at indskrive data i en ny række skal du bruge navigationstasterne eller musen til at flytte markøren til den specielle sidste række, som er markeret med et plustegn. Placér din markør i den anden søjle (Navn) og skriv et navn. Skriv også efternavn, gade, husnummer og by i ed følgende søjler. Når du er færdig flytter du cellemarkøren til den næste, tomme række enten ved at bruge piletasten Ned eller ved at klikke i de sidste række; på den måde tilføjer du en ny række.
