To remedy this, it might help to abort the current action and re-start it. First, quit '''KMail''' by using [[Special:myLanguage/KRunner|KRunner]] (<keycap>Alt + F2</keycap>) or [[Special:myLanguage/Konsole|Konsole]] and typing: <code>kquitapp kmail</code>. Note that a normal <keycap>Alt + F4</keycap> or <menuchoice>File -> Quit</menuchoice> does ''not'' do the trick! Wait a minute, then start '''KMail''' again. Now start '''akonadiconsole''' using [[Special:myLanguage/KRunner|KRunner]] (<keycap>Alt + F2</keycap>) or [[Special:myLanguage/Konsole|Konsole]]. Go to the <menuchoice>Mail Dispatcher Agent</menuchoice>, do a right-click and abort the current action. You will most likely get some error messages popping up. Go back to '''KMail''' and choose <menuchoice>File -> Send Queued Messages</menuchoice>. Now it might work.
