Message definition (Working with GMail)

To setup an outgoing connection, similar steps must be taken to add the new connection, which is treated as a new account by '''KMail'''. Open up the '''KMail''' Configuration window, and go to the <menuchoice>Accounts</menuchoice> area in the left navigation bar. Instead of using the <menuchoice>Receiving</menuchoice> tab, which was used to setup the incoming (IMAP) connection switch to the <menuchoice>Sending</menuchoice> tab now.

For at opsætte en udgående forbindelse skal du gå igennem en lignende procedure for at tilføje en ny forbindelse, som opfattes som en ny konto af KMail. Åbn KMails indstillingsvindue og gå til gruppen Konto i navigationslinjen til venstre. I stedet for at bruge fanebladet Modagelse, som blev brugt til at opsætte den indkommende IMAP-forbindelse, så gå nu til fanebladet Afsendelse.
