Message definition (KMail/Courses Information Openpgp)

KMail contains extensive [[Special:myLanguage/KMail/PGP_MIME|support for the cryptography standard OpenPGP]] (encryption and signatures); KDE even contains a dedicated application for managing OpenPGP keys and using [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenPGP OpenPGP] outside emails: [[Special:myLanguage/KGpg|KGpg]]. OpenPGP is free (both as in free beer and as in free speech) and very flexible; many other mail clients support OpenPGP either directly (like KMail) or via add-ons / plugins (e.g. Thunderbird; with certain limitations even Outlook).

El KMail conté una amplia implementació per a l'estàndard de criptografia OpenPGP (encriptatge i signatures). El KDE fins i tot conté una aplicació dedicada per a la gestió de les claus OpenPGP i l'ús d'OpenPGP fora del correu electrònic: KGpg. OpenPGP és lliure (tant com a barra lliure, com en llibertat d'expressió) i molt flexible. Molts altres clients de correu implementen OpenPGP, ja sigui directament (com el KMail) o mitjançant complements/connectors (p.ex. Thunderbird, amb certes limitacions, fins i tot l'Outlook).
