La Kubuntu sempre utilitzarà la sòlida base del projecte Ubuntu, a més de les últimes novetats del projecte KDE. Com a part del projecte Ubuntu i de la comunitat, la Kubuntu seguirà utilitzant la infraestructura i el suport que ofereix el projecte Ubuntu. Ens esforçarem per ser la millor distribució Linux basada en el KDE.
