When switching from kdenlive for windows 17.12 → 18.04/18.08, a Qt rendering crash appears. To make sure this doesn't happen, you need to edit the <tt>kdenliverc</tt> file in the <tt>appdata/local</tt> folder. To access your appdata, press <keycap>Win + R</keycap> (<keycap>Windows</keycap> key and <keycap>R</keycap> key simultaneously) and type '''appdata'''. Go to <tt>local</tt> and within it rename <tt>kdenliverc</tt> to <tt>kdenliverc.old</tt>.

Når man skifetr fra kdenlive til windows → 18.04/18.08 optræder der et Qt renderingsnedbrud. For at sørge for, at dette ikke indtræffer skal du redigere filen kdenliverc i mappen appdata/local. For at tilgå den skal du taste Win + R (Windows-tasten og R-tasten samtidigt) og skrive appdata. Gå til local og i denne omdøb kdenliverc til kdenliverc.old.
