===Dolphin===
:The default file manager in KDE Plasma. It has a side panel (''Places''), but navigation is mainly by the ''breadcrumb'' trail above the main window. It has various advanced features such as split windows and individual views in different windows. Mounting and umounting USB devices can be done in the side-panel. Other directories can be added to the Places panel. A ''Tree view'' is also possible.

Il gestore di file predefinito in KDE SC 4. Presenta un pannello laterale (Risorse), ma la navigazione è principalmente effettuata tramite breadcrumb presenti sopra il riquadro principale. È possibile suddividere le finestre e le opzioni di visualizzazione possono essere applicate alle singole finestre. Il montaggio e lo smontaggio dei dispositivi USB può essere effettuato nel pannello laterale. Possono essere aggiunte altre cartelle al pannello Risorse. È inoltre possibile una vista ad albero.
