Thanks for your message. I did notice that your documentation template added the Category:Template to the page, and that the Category:Template-link was shown at the bottom of the page. Everything seemed to be in order. However, no link to the Proposed deletion-template showed up in the Category:Template-page, and that link is the whole point. As far as I can tell your solution ought to work, but somehow it doesn't.
If you find a solution to this problem feel free to revert my change!

== About your recent (nov. 2024) edits ==
Hi. I reverted your edits to [[Kdenlive/Manual/Credits and License]] - that page is intentionally left without content, as the actual manual has moved to the Kdenlive website. As there are still many sites linking to the old UserBase manual, we left a link to the current manual, but otherwise the page is considered obsolete and should not have any content. I am sorry that your work was in vain.
You have proposed some unused files for deletion. I would like to point out, that is is not possible to reliably find out if a file is not used - [[Special:WhatLinksHere]] is not reliable, DPL is deprecated and incompatible with current versions of the MediaWiki server and searching is broken in its successor. Therefore it is safest not to delete anything that is not user facing.
As to your many formatting edits, please try to avoid html code as much as possible. We do sometimes use simple html tags such as e.g. <nowiki><tt></nowiki>, but anything more complicated than that is best avoided. Please use existing templates as much as possible; if necessary make a new template. This makes the formatting less intimidating for contributors who are not familiar with html and css, and it also makes it easier to maintain consistency across UserBase.
Also, please consider carefully whether a given page really needs refreshing. For example I am not sure that it is a good idea to replace <nowiki><tt></nowiki> with
<nowiki><kbd></nowiki>, even if the latter is better in principle. We use <nowiki><tt></nowiki> all over UserBase, and to maintain consistency we would need to find and change every occurrence, which is next to impossible given the sorry state of searching.
Any modification of a translated page will invalidate the existing translations, and translators will have to revisit the page to make it appear current again. Pages that have already been translated should only be edited, when new content is added or substantial modifications of existing content is needed, and then we can take the opportunity to clean up the page as well.
In case these comments come across as overly critical, let me say that your work is much appreciated, and I hope that you have not been discouraged. Keep up the good work.

About your recent (nov. 2024) edits

Hi. I reverted your edits to Kdenlive/Manual/Credits and License - that page is intentionally left without content, as the actual manual has moved to the Kdenlive website. As there are still many sites linking to the old UserBase manual, we left a link to the current manual, but otherwise the page is considered obsolete and should not have any content. I am sorry that your work was in vain.

You have proposed some unused files for deletion. I would like to point out, that is is not possible to reliably find out if a file is not used - Special:WhatLinksHere is not reliable, DPL is deprecated and incompatible with current versions of the MediaWiki server and searching is broken in its successor. Therefore it is safest not to delete anything that is not user facing.

As to your many formatting edits, please try to avoid html code as much as possible. We do sometimes use simple html tags such as e.g. <tt>, but anything more complicated than that is best avoided. Please use existing templates as much as possible; if necessary make a new template. This makes the formatting less intimidating for contributors who are not familiar with html and css, and it also makes it easier to maintain consistency across UserBase.

Also, please consider carefully whether a given page really needs refreshing. For example I am not sure that it is a good idea to replace <tt> with <kbd>, even if the latter is better in principle. We use <tt> all over UserBase, and to maintain consistency we would need to find and change every occurrence, which is next to impossible given the sorry state of searching.
