:The ''X Server'' represents a basic layer upon which the various GUIs like the KDE Plasma desktop are built. It manages the basic mouse and keyboard input (from the local host as well as from remote hosts) and provides elementary graphic routines to draw rectangles and other primitives.

X-Server

Il Server X rappresenta uno strato di base su cui le varie interfacce grafiche come il desktop KDE Plasma sono costruite. Gestisce gli input di base del mouse e della tastiera (sia locali che remoti) e fornisce procedure grafiche elementari per disegnare rettangoli ed altre primitive.
