Message definition (Konqueror)

''Frames'' allow you to view multiple locations, documents or websites in a single window under a single tab by splitting the window. This can be used e.g. to view multiple web pages at once, to copy files from one location to another (either from one folder to another or from a remote location like an FTP site or a shared network folder), view or compare two documents at the same time and for many other possibilities.
To use frames, either go to the <menuchoice>Window</menuchoice> menu or right-click on the status bar at the bottom of the window and select either <menuchoice>Split view left/right</menuchoice> or <menuchoice>Split view top/bottom</menuchoice>. You can also create or remove frames using the short-cuts displayed in the <menuchoice>Window</menuchoice> menu for each action. You can control each view by clicking on it and interacting with it as usual.

I riquadri ti permettono di vedere contemporaneamente più posizioni, documenti o siti web in una singola finestra presente in una singola scheda dividendo lo spazio di lavoro. Questa possibilità può essere, per esempio, utilizzata per vedere più pagine web contemporaneamente, per copiare file da un posizione ad un'altra (sia da una cartella ad un'altra che da una posizione remota come un sito FTP o da una cartella di rete condivisa), per visualizzare o confrontare due documenti e per molte altre possibilità d'utilizzo. Per utilizzare i riquadri vai o nel menu Finestra o fai clic destro sulla barra di stato in basso nella finestra e seleziona Dividi la vista sinistra/destra o Dividi la vista alto/basso. Puoi anche creare o rimuovere riquadri utilizzando le scorciatoie da tastiera visualizzate nel menu Finestra. Inoltre puoi controllare ogni vista facendo clic su essa ed interagendoci come al solito.
