Message definition (Tutorials/KDE3 to KDE SC 4)

In KDE SC 4 there are two modes of desktop, either of which may be the default in your distribution. You can change between them by right-clicking on the desktop, choosing <menuchoice>Desktop Settings</menuchoice> (some distros call it <menuchoice>Appearance Settings</menuchoice>) and choosing the <menuchoice>Type -> Desktop</menuchoice> (for those who like a clean, sparse desktop) or <menuchoice>Folder View</menuchoice> (which behaves much more like the KDE3 desktop).

In KDE SC 4 ci sono due tipi di desktop, ciascuno dei quali può essere il predefinito nella tua distribuzione. Puoi passare da uno all'altro facendo clic destro sul desktop, scegliendo Impostazioni del desktop (alcune distro lo chiamano Impostazioni dell'aspetto) e selezionando Tipo -> Desktop (per quelli che preferiscono un desktop ordinato e non affollato) o Vista delle cartelle (che si comporta in modo molto più simile al desktop KDE3).
