It is bad to duplicate information in two different places, and sure enough [[User:Zachus]] has added a lot of information about file attributes here so the text I copied to community.kde.org has drifted out of date. Baloo's extended attribute info on two wikis
You reverted my edit to Baloo here on userbase; I have a hard time figuring out what info goes best on the three wikis, I apologize if I got it wrong. But then presumably you disagree with moving the info to community:Baloo/Architecture#Baloo_and_extended_attributes ? It is bad to duplicate information in two different places, and sure enough User:Zachus has added a lot of information about file attributes here so the text I copied to community.kde.org has drifted out of date. All this geeky information about extended attributes is split between help for advanced users (which doesn't fit on an Architecture page) and architecture info that isn't of interest to users, so it seems the choices are
- Revert your revert so Baloo is again a stub pointing to community:Baloo.
- Replace the duplicated extended attribute info on community:Baloo/Architecture with a a See pointer.
- Split the info between userbase and community, with See also pointers from one to the other.
