The Edit Menu

The Edit Menu contains commands for standard editing tasks, such as cutting, copying, pasting text and images, undoing or redoing changes, and finding.

The commands offered are:

Undo
This command launches an assistant to create a new KEXI project.
Redo
Here, you can choose to open any KEXI projects whether stored in a file or a database server.
Cut
Here, you can choose to open any recently open KEXI project whether stored in a file or a database server.
Copy
This command saves changes made in the active window, such as in a table or form design.
Copy Special
This command saves the object open in the active window, such as a table or form design, under a different name, creating a copy of the object.
Paste
This command imports entire existing database as a new KEXI project.
Paste Special
This command closes the object currently open in the active window of the KEXI project. If there are unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save them.
Find/ReplaceFind
This command closes all objects currently open in the KEXI project. If there are unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save them.
Find/ReplaceFind Next
This command closes the currently open KEXI project. If necessary, you will be prompted to save any unsaved changes in the project.
Find/ReplaceFind Previous
This command closes the currently open KEXI project. If necessary, you will be prompted to save any unsaved changes in the project.
Delete
Closes the KEXI application. Any existing project will be closed first, if open.
