Kalzium er et program, som viser dig information om det periodiske system. Du kan således bruge det som en informationsdatabase.
Kalzium har allerede en række fine funktioner, men der er stadig meget at gøre. Kalzium blev inkluderet i KDE 3.1 og vi arbejder i øjeblikket på at inkludere nye, nyttige funktioner og at gøre den så hurtig og brugbar som muligt. Du kan hjælpe os ved at teste programmet eller komme med forslag til nye funktioner eller bedre design.

- versatile overview of all important data from the elements like melting points, electron affinity, electronegativity, electron configuration, radii, mass, ionization energy
- tool to visualize the spectral lines of each elements
- different colored views to the PSE: separation of the different blocks, year simulator, temperature simulator

- 3D molecule editor, with a load and save functionality
