Bu Kubuntu kurulumunuzda dahil edilen yazılımlar hakkında kısa bir rehberdir.

Grafik

Bazı temel grafik uygulamaları resimler oluşturma, görüntüleme tarama ve düzenlemeniz için Kubuntu kurulumuyla birlikte gelir. Aşağıdaki uygulamalar öntanımlı olarak kurulur:

E-posta istemcilerine geldiğinde birçok seçenek bulunmaktadır. Kubuntu içerisinde tek başına veya kişisel bilgi yöneticisi (PIM) olan Kontact ile kullanılabilen Kmail öntanımlı e-posta istemcisidir. Kmail, KDE'nin kişisel bilgi yöneticisi (PIM) Kontact'ın e-posta bileşenidir. Kmail kendi başına diğer yaygın benzer işlevsellikleri sunmakla birlikte Kontact tam özellikli takvim, adres defteri, notlar, bir RSS okuyucusu, zaman izleme, günlükler ve basit proje planlama gibi yapılandırılabilir kişisel bilgi yöneticileri arasında en başarılısı ve en güzelidir. Aşağıdaki özellikler sadece Kmail'in özelliklerinden bazılarıdır:

  • IMAP, POP3, SMTP desteği
  • SSL, TLS ve Digest-md5 güvenli oturum desteği
  • PGP ve GNUPG imza ve şifreleme desteği

Sohbet İstemcileri

Arkadaşlarla ve aileniz ile sohbet etmek İnternet'in yaygın kullanımlarından biridir. Bu nedenle Kubuntu gerekli uygulamaları sağlar. Kubuntu içerisinde yüklü öntanımlı iki sohbet istemcisi bulunur - Anlık mesajlaşma için KDE Telepathy ve IRC (İnternet Aktarımlı Sohbet) için Quassel.

KDE Telepathy kurulu ve yapılandırılmaya hazır.

Konversation Kubuntu içerisinde önceden yüklenmiş bir IRC (İnternet Aktarımlı) istemcisidir. Yaygın X-chat gibi diğer IRC istemcilerine benzer işlevler sağlamasının yanında, tasarımı kolay kullanımı vurgulamaktadır. Konversation sekmeli gezinmeyi ve iletiler ile diğer olaylarda bildirimleri sunar.

Çoklu Ortam

Çoklu ortamın en iyileri yeni Kubuntu kurulumunuzla birlikte kuruludur. Eğer "eksik çözücüler" hakkında bir uyarı mesajı alıyorsanız lütfen kubuntu-restricted-extras paketini kurun. Çoklu ortam uygulamalarınızı Kickoff->Uygulamalar->Çoklu Ortam yolunu izleyerek bulabilirsiniz.

Güvenlik Duvarı Yapılandırması

Ufw, güvenlik duvarı için öntanımlı komut satırı yapılandırma aracıdır. Ufw, Uncomplicated Firewall'un (Karmaşık Olmayan Güvenlik Duvarı) kısaltılmışıdır ve iptables güvenlik duvarı yapılandırmasını kolaylaştırmak için geliştirilmiştir. Ufw hakkında daha fazla bilgi için: UFW
