Message definition (Digikam/Geotagging)

Offload then the photos from your camera to '''digiKam''', select them, and choose <menuchoice>Image -> Geolocation -> Correlator</menuchoice>. Press the <menuchoice>Load GPX File</menuchoice> button and select the GPX file. '''digiKam''' should then automatically assign geographical coordinates to the photos. By default, '''digiKam''' can tolerate a 30-second gap between the time settings of the camera and the GPX track. If the gap is longer, the application may fail to assign geographical coordinates to some of the photos. In this case, you can increase the time gap in the <menuchoice>Max time gap</menuchoice> field. Press then the <menuchoice>Correlate</menuchoice> button to refresh the geographical coordinates. This makes geocorrelation less precise, but you can use the <menuchoice>Edit</menuchoice> button to adjust the coordinates manually. Once you’re satisfied with the result, press the <menuchoice>Apply</menuchoice> button to save the assigned coordinates in the photos’ metadata, and you are done.

Scarica quindi le foto dalla macchina fotografica a digiKam, selezionale e scegli Immagine -> Geolocalizzazione -> Correlatore. Premi il pulsante Carica file GPX e seleziona il file GPX. digiKam dovrebbe quindi assegnare automaticamente le coordinate geografiche alle foto. In modo predefinito digiKam può tollerare un intervallo di 30 secondi tra le impostazioni orarie della fotocamera e della traccia GPX. Se l'intervallo è maggiore, l'applicazione potrebbe non riuscire ad assegnare le coordinate geografiche ad alcune foto. In questo caso puoi aumentare l'intervallo orario nel campo Massimo salto di tempo. Premi poi il pulsante Correla per ricaricare le coordinate geografiche. Ciò rende la geo-correlazione meno precisa, ma puoi utilizzare il pulsante Modifica per regolare le coordinate manualmente. Quando sei soddisfatto del risultato premi il pulsante Applica per salvare le coordinate assegnate nelle informazioni aggiuntive delle foto. Finito!
