Hvem har brug for en database?
Hold dig til regneark hvis:
- Dine behov er begrænsede og dine data aldrig vil vokse til et meget stort omfang (kan du faktisk forudsige det nu?)
- Du ikke kan tilegne dig metodologien til konstruntion af databaser. Du kan dog overveje at outsource opgaven til andre eller bruge enklere værktøjer.
- Du bruger komplicerede regneark og ikke har tid og råd til at skifte til databaser. Overvej eller spørg nogen om det ikke leder dig ind i en blindgyde. Regn ikke med magiske værktøjer, som kan lave dine regneark (uanset hvor godt de er lavet) om til databaser.
Overvej at bruge databaser hvis:
- Din datasamling vokser hver uge.
