The KDE ecosystem has existed for a long period of time and in that time many apps have been created that have either become unmaintained or have been superseded.
This sections documents some of the historical apps, preserving the information for archival and educational purposes.
None of the information in this section should be considered a tutorial. We recommend using the modern equivalent for superseded apps.

KPDF was written for KDE 3 and was one of the earliest Free, Open Source Applications to successfully view and print PDF files. | |

KPlato is a historical application for creating Gantt charts, which has been replaced by Plan, part of the Calligra suite. | |
