El sistema de text a veu del KDE, Jovie

El nom d'aquesta aplicació ha canviat!

Abans del KDE SC 3.5, aquesta aplicació es coneixia com KTTS. El nom ha canviat a Jovie. Depenent de la vostra distribució, encara serà possible veure KTTS en el vostre sistema o en els repositoris de paquets de les vostres distribucions.

Descripció

El Sistema de text a veu del KDE és Jovie, una aplicació que es pot executar en segon pla per a proporcionar la sortida de veu de text a través de l'escriptori. S'integra amb moltes aplicacions i és fàcil d'utilitzar.

Arranjament

Un cop instal·lat, podreu iniciar Jovie per anar al menú d'aplicacions i a Utilitats obriu jovie. O simplement iniciar el KRunner amb la drecera Alt+F2 i executar

jovie

. Jovie inicialment resta sense configurar i ho haureu de fer abans d'utilitzar les seves habilitats de sintetització.

També podeu accedir a la configuració des d'Arranjament del sistema.

El primer pas és assegurar-se que teniu instal·lat un giny de veu compatible. Els següents sintetitzadors són compatibles amb Jovie: Festival, Festival Lite (flite), Hadifix, Epos i FreeTTS. Qualsevol guiny que es pugui executar des línia d'ordres també es podrrà utilitzar amb Jovie.

Ara podreu continuar i crear un Parlador. Seleccioneu la pestanya Parlador des del mòdul de control Text a veu i feu clic a Afegeix.

Seleccioneu l'idioma i el sintetitzador a utilitzar. Haureu de tenir instal·lada una veu per utilitzar Festival, el podreu configurar seleccionant el botó Edita. Jovie serà configurat i el podreu provar seleccionant Edita i després Prova.

Configuració

Per a configurar la veu, volum, velocitat i to del sintetitzador aneu a la pestanya Parladors i feu clic a Edita sobre el parlador. Apareixerà una finestra com la de la captura de pantalla anterior que us permetrà configurar-lo. Per a canviar la veu haureu de tenir instal·lades altres veus.

Usar Jovie

Safata del sistema

Si l'activeu a la configuració, Jovie restarà disponible a la Safata del sistema. Feu clic dret revelarà el menú, el qual és senzill i permet controlar la sortida de veu.

Observeu l'opció Parla el contingut del porta-retalls al menú, si l'aplicació no està integrada amb Jovie (llegiu més sobre les aplicacions amb Jovie encastat a la propera secció) podreu copiar el text que voleu parlar, i feu clic a Parla el contingut del porta-retalls per a escoltar la seva lectura.

Integració amb d'altres aplicacions d'escriptori

Konqueror

Jovie permet llegir el text en una pàgina web. Aneu al menú Eines -> Pronuncia el text. No obstant, potser no ho voldreu fer perquè també es llegiran les capçaleres HTML de la pàgina. La solució passarà per ressaltar el text que voleu parlar i després seleccioneu Pronuncia el text.

Tingueu també tingui en compte que aquesta característica està encastada a Okular. Al menú Eines se us donaran dues opcions Pronuncia tot el document o Pronuncia la pàgina actual.

Notificacions

Jovie funciona amb qualsevol aplicació que utilitzi notificacions. Per a configurar una aplicació com Konversation per a que utilitzi notificacions. Aneu al menú Arranjament -> Configura notificacions....

Com podeu veure podeu tenir diferents notificacions per a esdeveniments diferents, com quan algú activa un ressaltat. En seleccionar parlar aquest esdeveniment se us notificarà a través de la sortida d'àudio cada vegada que succeeixi aquest esdeveniment. Per descomptat, també podeu tenir més d'una notificació.

Informació

Si l'aplicació no inclou la capacitat de parlar text recordeu que sempre el podreu seleccionar i copiar, i després utilitzar Jovie per a parlar el contingut del porta-retalls.

Solució de problemes

Si Jovie no diu res tot i haver afegit una veu, proveu a executar l'eina de configuració speech-dispatcher des de la línia d'ordres.
