Un CD Live îţi permite să testezi ultima versiune stabilă a KDE SC fără a instala Linux sau aţi modifica instalarea Linuxul deja existentă.Aceste distribuţii butează şi rulează complet de pe CD şi nu modifică hard discurile.Prin urmare pot fi încercate pe un computer cu Windows fără nici un risc.Toate CD-urile listate sunt liber disponibile pentru descărcare.
