Un Live CD vous permet de tester la dernière version stable de KDE et des ses applications sans avoir à installer Linux sur votre système ou sans changer votre installation Linux actuelle. Ces distributions démarrent et fonctionnent à partir d'un CD et ne modifient pas le contenu de votre disque dur. Tout les CD listés ci-dessous peuvent être téléchargés gratuitement. Un lien vers une page en français est fourni si possible.

New Live CDs and DVDs are becoming available all the time. If you've heard of a distro and think you'd like to try it, do an Internet search for it. You may well find that a Live CD is available.
